Best resin 3D printers under €2300

Updated 7 September 2026 · Live prices on every page load from Germany marketplaces

Ranked off live Germany marketplaces prices plus the specs that actually matter on a resin machine: XY pixel size (finer is better), build volume, and light-source technology. Bigger numbers don't always mean better prints - but they do mean more headroom for miniatures, dental work and jewellery casting. Resin is messier than FDM; expect to spend time on wash, cure and nitrile gloves.

Matt's take on this budget

€2300+ resin is workshop-grade or industrial-adjacent. Dental labs, high-precision product design, casting houses. Nothing at this price point is a hobby purchase - you're buying material traceability, calibration consistency, and support-call response times. If you can't name the specific certification or material class you need, the €580 to €1150 tier will print objectively similar parts for less money. Only go here with a commercial justification.

Frequently asked

Is a €2300 resin printer worth it over €1150? +

Only for commercial or regulated work. Dental clinics, jewellery casting houses, product-design consultancies. The premium is for material traceability, calibration consistency and support-response times - not print resolution, which is already saturated.

What specific features justify €2300+? +

Closed-loop resin temperature control, auto-resin-refill, material RFID tracking, certified biocompatible resins, and often a commercial warranty with 48-hour replacement. None of those exist at the €580 tier and you pay a real premium to get them.

Formlabs, Phrozen or UniFormation at this tier? +

Formlabs for regulated dental / medical work where material certification is non-negotiable. Phrozen and UniFormation for commercial mini-makers and jewellery. The Formlabs premium is the ecosystem, not the hardware.

Other resin budgets

Ranking is driven by the spec sheet plus live price. Print quality on resin also depends heavily on the slicer, the resin itself, exposure tuning and post-processing - none of which are on the spec sheet. Treat this as a shortlist, read owner reports, then buy.
